ANGRAU AGRICET 2026: Applications Invited for B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture Admissions
Acharya N.G. Ranga Agricultural University (ANGRAU) has officially invited online applications for admission into its four-year B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture degree programme for the academic year 2026-27. The admissions will be processed through the Agriculture Common Entrance Test (AGRICET-2026), which is scheduled to be conducted as a Computer-Based Test (CBT).
This entrance examination is exclusively open to eligible diploma holders in Agriculture, Seed Technology, and Organic Farming.
Seat Matrix & Tentative Intake
A total of 297 tentative seats are available for the 2026-27 academic session, distributed according to the candidate's diploma specialization:
Diploma in Agriculture: 282 seats
Diploma in Seed Technology: 11 seats
Diploma in Organic Farming: 04 seats
Eligibility Criteria & Age Limit
Educational Qualification: Candidates must have completed a two-year Diploma in Agriculture, Seed Technology, or Organic Farming from ANGRAU. Students who are appearing for their final diploma examinations during the 2025-26 academic year are also eligible to apply.
Discipline Restriction: Candidates are strictly permitted to attempt the AGRICET exam only in the specific discipline that corresponds to their completed diploma.
Age Limit: Applicants must be between 17 and 22 years of age as of the baseline date. The upper age limit is relaxed up to 25 years for SC/ST candidates and up to 27 years for Persons with Disabilities (PwD).
Exam Pattern
The AGRICET-2026 will be an objective-type, computer-based test comprising 120 multiple-choice questions.
Total Marks: 120 (1 mark per correct answer)
Duration: 1 hour and 30 minutes (90 minutes)
Negative Marking: None
Medium of Exam: The question paper will be bilingual, available in both Telugu and English.
How to Apply
Online Registration: Candidates must log on to the official ANGRAU website to submit their application forms and pay the prescribed registration fee online.
Hard Copy Submission (Mandatory): After successful online submission, applicants must take a printout of the application form. The printed copy, along with all supporting educational and category documents, must be sent to the Convener, AGRICET-2026, via Registered Post or Speed Post.
Note: Submitting the physical hard copy before the specified deadline is mandatory to be considered eligible for the subsequent counselling rounds.
