CHENNAI: The Tamil Nadu Housing and Urban Development Department has issued a Government Order (G.O. Ms. No. 148) extending the time limit for regularizing unapproved plots and layouts across the state until June 30, 2027.Property owners can submit online applications for the regularization of unapproved plots and layouts up to June 30, 2027. The scheme covers unapproved plots and layouts that were registered on or before October 20, 2016. The extension has been granted under G.O. Ms. No. 148 by the Housing and Urban Development Department. Provides an extended opportunity for plot buyers to legalize their unapproved land parcels, enabling them to secure building plan approvals and utility connections.
How to Apply
Eligible applicants can register and submit their applications online through the Tamil Nadu government portal (tnlayoutreg.in) along with the required land documents, layout sketches, and applicable regularization fees.
